I remember my first pair or Hunter welly rain boots. It was 2006 and I babysat two different dates to save up enough money to buy them.
They were tall, shiny black with a side buckle at the top and of course the distinguished emblem emblazoned on the front. I wore them with shorts, dresses, out in the yard to work, in the rain, for fashion... winter, summer- you name it, these boots were on my feet.
I still have this pair; they wait patiently by the back door for me to call them up to service. I've never needed to repair or replace them. The buckles are worn out, sure, but they still fit like a glove.
I have baby Hunters in my store on a shelf as decor in red and yellow. Many of you have asked about them, and my answer is all the same, "oh sorry, these are my selfish stash."
So imagine my joy when I was able to bring Hunter into the store for you. As with many other items I source, I'm looking for shapes, styles and colors to share with siblings, so I've selected my favorite unisex style in red and yellow + a sparkly purple for good measure.
